Ahhh almost Thanksgiving! Love this marathon of holidays coming up, and all the cheer that will ensue. It probably goes without saying, but I am a super festive person.
Wrapped up ELIZABETHS November 11 at the United Solo Theatre Fest. It was a real pleasure to perform there, in an arena where so many talented solo performers have tread. I ended up with a nice audience, and had a spectacular time afterwards. My mom, grandma, and brother were able to come in from Ohio, so it was an extra treat to get to spend time with them during the week.
Have been keeping a fairly low profile since, as it's always a bit sad when something you love is done. However, I did get some new headshots, courtesy of TAPNYC's Email Contest, and the wonderful ladies at Studio 7 Photography. We shot near the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park, and wound up with some really stunning photos that I am so excited to share.
Also got a new reel done, and am looking forward to sharing that with interested parties. I think it showcases me nicely, and with FOUR different hair colors! Compelling stuff.
I'm now jumping back into seeing shows, writing something new, working at Barrow St (we have a lot of amazing programming right now and coming soon, check it out!), trying to manage how I will participate in Season 31 of TAPNYC, and OH --
I was invited to join the Rising Sun Performance Company!!! I am very excited to join them. They are the company I did the Theatre Mash up with, and always do very nice, solid work. I will be meeting in early December to get more details, but I will certainly have events upcoming to share in that regard.
